Chris Ford is known for capturing stunning and intimately detailed imagery of our world around us in a way that allows us to take hold of and re-examine those inner visions that so often pass us by on a daily basis.
“I grew up in a home where both my parents were artistic. Their help and encouragement started me on my path as an artist. While enjoying every opportunity to be involved in art at school, I continued my post-secondary education with studies in the graphics, fine art and advertising art fields. Most of my career in the corporate world was spent in facilities management and office design.”
A graduate from PrairieView School of Photography, with over 25 years photographic experience, Chris Ford is a multi-faceted photographer with the creative vision of an poet, combined with the analytical precision of a surgeon. His award-winning work has been featured in The Cottager magazine, CPAWS annual calendar, Canad Inns Hotels and WestJet’s EnRoute magazine.
As an avid landscape photographer, one of his passions has been to capture dynamic images throughout the eastern beaches region.
“As an artist, I find myself seeking to develop the art of seeing unique wonders in the world around me; brief moments in time where God’s uniqueness is on display. Using my chosen medium of photography, my goal is to share these special moments through the lens of my personal vision; capturing a time, a place, or an experience for others to enjoy.”
