Judy Le Roye is a Metis beader who grew up in Northern Manitoba. From the Elders and her childhood friends she learned how to do Loom Beading, as well as free hand beading where she featured the famous Hippy Chokers from the 60’s and 70’s . She sold her beaded jewelry on the banks of Lake Winnipeg to the patrons of the famous MS Lord Selkirk.
Forty years later she still has a passion for beading. It’s as a calming meditation travelling through the stress that daily life dishes out. It gives strength, balance and joy.
The jewelry is made with high quality product such as 6 lb braided beading thread, glass beads and Swarovski Crystals. Customers love the look and feel of her items on their wrists and ankles and she hopes you will too.
