I like to define my art journey as exploring the calm within chaos.
And — with the world seeming to be spiraling out of control all around us — never has there been a time more appropriate than the present, to be urgently exploring that. To find a way through my art to harness the concerning ambiguity of chaos and instead embrace it, finding the calmness within.
Taking back control.
I want my bold abstracts artwork to be the wow in a room – the chaos. But the more you look and explore the intricacies, layers, and depth; a sense of calm will soon envelope you. Two powerful emotions at once.
To further that positive emotional experience, I purposely use the colours of the rainbow to embrace you.
It seems only fitting I use mother nature’s colours as we battle today’s storms.
Besides, why wait for the storms to end? I say take the rainbows now!
As for my Marshmallow Skies, they are meant to immediately put you at ease and calm you. To make you viscerally connect with a positive big blue-sky prairie or lake memory, and most of all, to remind you to “just breathe”. A reminder we need more and more nowadays with all the chaos the world is throwing at us.
