3 People’s Choice Awards to be voted on this year!

The fourth Boreal Shores Art Tour will take place this year August 20th and August 21st.   37 Artists and 1 Gallery will be found at 21 stops along the route.   There are new artists and new mediums to be explored as well as amazing and new venues.  (For example, visit the 2 artists displaying their work at the new and impressive Winnipeg River Heritage Museum on the river in St Georges).

The artists have been challenged to create one piece in the theme of “A Boreal Slice of Life”.   As you travel from stop to stop, take note of your favourite entry for this theme and mark it on your passport.    The winning artists will  be awarded gift cards thanks to The Spicy Radish in the South, Papertown Grill in the Centre and the Birchwood Motor Hotel in the North.  

Again this year, draws will be made from the Passports of those who travel the most stops during the Tour.  Gift certificates for $125 – sponsored by Wpg River Arts Council, $100 – sponsored by the Pinawa Art Gallery and $75 – sponsored by John Angus, will be given to the winners of those draws!
