Kathleen was happily encouraged to paint on walls as a child! She is comfortable in many mediums such as cast glass, pate de verre, acrylic, oil, watercolour, encaustic and mixed media. She is inspired by her Prairie home and its strong people and is fascinated by the concepts of time, light, growth, grief and the environment.


She was privileged to design and craft the 2015 and 2017 Human Rights Award, a Great Grey Owl Glass Feather. She works with Artists in Healthcare facilitating Art ext to the BIG Blue Chair with patients receiving chemotherapy. Pre COVID – Life Enrichment in Interim Care provides opportunity for her to share the importance of creativity in our well being. Educated in Manitoba BFA and enriched her education at Alberta College of Art and Design and Red Deer College, Alberta. Her work is represented in Edmonton, Victoria and most importantly at home in Manitoba.
