Toni is an emerging, self-taught artist. She began painting a few years ago when she was gifted a set of watercolour paints, paper, and brushes. Her style evolved quickly from basic illustration to more realistic portraits to her uniquely recognizable work inspired by one-line drawings. Her experience working as an actor has played a central role in the subject of her art. Story, character, motivation and emotion can be seen throughout her work. Her focus is on bringing the inner life of a person, animal, or object to the surface.
The Boreal Shores Tour 2024 was Toni’s first time showing her work to the public. She has gone on to paint commissions and participate in other juried art shows. The positive response has been so encouraging. Come and see what she’s been up to!
