Toni Reimer is a Winnipeg artist who spends as much time as she can at her family cabin on the shores of Lake Winnipeg. For more than 25 years this haven has been a cherished retreat where countless memories have been made.
Art wasn’t always Toni’s primary pursuit; she discovered her passion later in life, realizing she had a knack for drawing after surprising herself by sketching a friend. From that moment, she delved headfirst into her artistic journey and hasn’t looked back since.
With a background in acting, Toni possesses a keen eye for character, perpetually seeking truth in every scene she encounters, whether on stage or in the interesting people she meets in everyday life.
She recently experimented with drawing portraits without lifting her pencil, shaping her current style. Using watercolour and marker, she creates bold portraits along with occasional floral and landscape pieces.
